Pineapple Mango Rum Punch Cocktail

Since I’m not on the beach someplace far away, soaking up the sun, feeding my melanin: I figured I’d bring the tropics indoors. Throw your cares away while you enjoy Hawaii in a cup. Leah Beyer’s Pineapple Mango Rum Punch Cocktail is the definition of laying in the sand on a tropical beach. I’m not a drinker but this was a cocktail I had to try, and it was the perfect combination of Mango, Pineapple and Rum. Follow Beyer’s simple four-step recipe and prepare for your taste buds to experience paradise.

Here’s what you'll need:

  • 3 shots of Pineapple Mango Juice

  • 1 shot of Malibu Rum

  • 1 shot of White Rum

  • 1 shot of Triple Sec

  • 2 ounces of Sparkling water, this is optional

  • Maraschino cherries

Ready? Set. Go!

1. Combine the Pineapple Mango juice, Rums and Triple Sec in a cocktail shaker

  • If you don’t own a cocktail shaker, your go to Coffee Mug makes a great substitute*

2. Shake for 20 seconds

3. Pour into a tall glass filled with ice

  • If you decided not to use the Sparkling water, step three is your final step

  • & don't forget the Maraschino Cherries

  • If you decided to use the Sparkling water, leave enough room to add to the cocktail

4. Top off with sparkling water *fill to the top* and garnish with Maraschino Cherries

5. Enjoy :)
